Ice Station Valencia is proud to offer the only Southern California Mini Mites program on an ice surface specifically designed with the young developing hockey player in mind. The program is designed for the player age 7 & under who has advanced through Ice Station's Skating Academy and Little Tykes and is now ready to play on a team within a league atmosphere. All practices and games are held on our Pond ice surface.
PLEASE NOTE: MINI MITES IS NOT A LEARN TO SKATE PROGRAM AND COMPLETION OF LITTLE TYKES 2 OR ICE STATION VALENCIA HOCKEY DEPARTMENT APPROVAL IS REQUIRED FOR PARTICIPATION
Ice Station Valencia offers 3 Mini Mite seasons per year. The Spring-Summer session starting in February/March, Summer session starting May/June and the Fall-Winter session starting September.
Enrollment includes the following:
- 2 Evaluation clinics
- 12 practices
- 12 games
- Team jerseys and matching socks
- Trophies for all participants
- Individual and team photos
- USA Hockey Certified Officials
- USA Hockey CEP certified coaches
- Web based schedules and league information via Sportability
Cost:
Individual player cost is $390 per season
Registration/ Documentation requirements:
Completed USA Hockey Online Membership.
Completed Mini Mite registration form, and waiver
Must bring completed registration form and valid USA Hockey registration to first evaluation session

- HECC certified helmet with full face protection
- Hockey Stick
- Hockey Skates
- Hockey Pants
- Athletic supporter or pelvic protector
- Elbow pads
- Shoulder Pads
- Hockey Gloves
- Shin Guards
While Ice Station Valencia does not provide hockey equipment with this program our Pro Shop, Zero Celsius has youth hockey starter kits in stock. In addition on a limited basis Ice Station Valencia has gently used equipment available for size trade up and to help get you started.
