Ice Station Valencia will again offer curling clinics in cooperation with the Hollywood Curling Club. Pre-registration at info@Hollywoodcurling.org is required in order to save a place for the clinic. Payment for the clinic may be made on the day of the clinic. The cost of each clinic will be $15. New Spring Skating Classes

The Skating Academy at Ice Station Valencia will continue to hold Sunday classes for the Spring Semester, as well as adding three classes geared towards Spanish speaking families.

Sunday classes will be held on the Olympic surface of the rink. All classes on Sunday will begin at 1:00 pm and end at 1:30 pm. The Sunday session will be at the Pre-Alpha or beginning level and will be structured for those who speak Spanish and would like to learn to skate. Saturdays will see two Spanish classes, one for the Tot level and other for the Pre-Alpha level.

Also new to this Spring Semester are additional classes which will be held a little later on Saturday morning (see the Schedule of Classes which can be downloaded).

Beginning Hockey classes have also been expanded this semester. Starting March 21^st, a Beginning Hockey class will be held on Sundays at 1 pm. This class is for the beginner and will be taught by Hockey Coach Rob Kucheraway. The only requirement is that hockey skates must be worn. Hockey rental skates are available.

The Skating Academy at Ice Station will also have several new classes in the skating school including an Axel level freestyle class on Wednesdays at 5:45 pm.

College of the Canyons Hockey Team Heading Back to National Championships

For the second time in as many years the College of the Canyons hockey team will take the ice at the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) National Championships.
